Vintage Tai Dam Textile Pillow

This vintage textile pillow is made with a hand woven, hand embroidered cotton textile from Northern Vietnam. Each vilage has their own style of hand embroidery. 

This piece was made by a Tai woman artisan to be worn as part of their attire. Each piece is unique. The textile featuring indigo dyed square with embroidery is stitched on a finely woven natural linen. The down pillow insert is made in Tennessee.
