The Thakali throw blanket makes you feel like you are wrapped in the softest, loftiest cashmere cloud. The Thakali design is based on traditional designs from the Thakol region in Nepal near Mustang on the Tibetan border.  Each piece is hand woven with hand spun yarn using thakol spinning and weaving techniques. The loom warp is set with hand spun cotton yarn and the weft is cashmere.  These pieces were traditionally made by hand for a special occasion or life event like a marriage. They are true heritage pieces made to endure.
